I just used a Hoppy car trailer kit to intergrate my blinkers into the tail light on my Fizzy and it came out great, but I ran into the same problem my R1 had, the blinkers go nuts when the brake is applied. I know the fix for it...in theory. I need to install the el-12 heavy duty flasher, but my question is how. Do I wire it in-line to a set of blinkers, or do I replace the stock flasher with the new one?

I had a similar problem when I put some LED turn signals on my bike (aprilia). I replaced the stock flasher with one from the auto parts store. It was cheap and easy. The flasher was located near the rear of the bike. It should make a clicking sound when the turn signals are on to help you find it. The new flasher flashes at a constant pace reguardless of the current going through it. I remember it didnt fit in the bracket so I wire tied it. But otherwise it plugged right into the socket that the old one fit in.
