There is a company putting out an electric scooter called the Vetrix. It has been universally hailed as the best electric 2-wheeler yet. The same company is partnered up with a design studio called rMoto to create an electric superbike.

The question is, would you as a bike enthusiast accept an electric superbike? Obviously an electric motor won't have the same power delivery characteristics as a fossil fuel motor. But all other things being equal (weight, handling, range, speed, comfort, looks, suspension etc etc) can you see yourself riding one 10 years from now?

Do you even think an electric bike could be a viable performance alternative to a gas burner?
