i have a 98 r1 and am about to replace the exup cables. The problem is that i forgot to check which cable went where.
can someone tell me the answer i.e. the top cable at the servo motor ends up at which fitting on the exup valve, front or rear?

Man, if you won't have your answer until tomorrow, I'll open my '99 and tell you.

But - if I'm not mistaken, the bottom on servo is the top at the EXUP. The way to check - turn on your engine, rev it - you'll see the servo turning a certain way, pulling one of the cables and pushing another. When you look down on the EXUP, you see one cable almost wrapped around the EXUP and the other almost straight. The cable that's round the EXUP (which is the topmost one, by the way) is the one to be pulled by a servo (if I remember correctly, the servo turns clockwise when you look at it the same direction that you sit on the bike, so it'd be the lower servo connection).

If you still need me to open my bike, tell me in the next 10 hours, I'll do that.
