Nah, I've got swing arm sliders, frame sliders, bar end sliders, clutch slider, and left swing arm pivot slider on the bike, in addition to the FP case covers with sliders. First time "trying out" the sliders, every single one did its job except the FP sliders. The one on the right side (shorter one) doesn't take the hit, and the one on the left side (longer one) snapped off instantly, leaving bent/snapped off screws in the case cover. For the 04 track bike, I got a set of Woodcrafts instead with the replaceabke stainless skid plates, but have not yet "tested" them out. YMMV.SportbikerR1 said:Well I'm hoping with the existing sliders I have It can't hurt... should be a solid 3 contact points now on the frame. PS. I don't plan on posting any pictures of how they work.
"Rubber side down... or at least just the front pointed to the sky."
The slider (on the left side) worked a treat on my R1 when is was needed.Eyespy said:Got em on my 00 track bike. The covers are good, but the sliders are useless and very ineffective.
As you can see, my experience was different. Of course, every crashe is a unique event.Lord Melch said:The slider (on the left side) worked a treat on my R1 when is was needed.
Was OK enough to be flipped upside down (for the next time)
