Just installed my factory pro jet kit. The kit came with #20 pilot jets, are they too big?

The bike runs great above 4k but hesitates from 1200-4000 rpm are the pilot jets causing this? Should I put the #15's back in?

Depends what airbox, filter and exhaust you are running. I guess for a standard airbox they could be too big.
Have you also set the fuel level in bowls?

Stock airbox, k&n filter, micron headers with a carbon can. I attempted to set the float height. Is there a difference between the two?

If the float height is not set to 9.5mm it will run rich at low rpm, im sure factory pro state that for their jet kit

I read that in the instructions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you measure from the surface of the bowl to the top of the float correct?

Yes that is how I understand it, the face where the bowl seals against to the float, when the fuel valve just seats

The tab gets bent in to raise the float and bent out to lower it correct?

I'd try the stock pilot first.
