I had to push my 01 about a 1/2 mile in a monsoon, had all kinds of electrical problems with it.

I once pushed my XT600 about 7km with my broken foot in plaster.
By the time I got a lift all the plaster from the ankle down was gone.
The orthopedic surgeon was not at all impressed the next day

About a 1/4 mile to the local bike shop where I knew everyone and they made fun of me for running out of gas on my '01. I still swear I normally got above 12 miles after the light came on, but not that time, it was dry as a bone. :crash
