Gasoline on the ground, it should be pre-lit unless u have a nail in a tire to create sparks. Don't use too much and be careful! Keep a few extinguishers nearby.

Gas evaporates quick so you'll have to play with the amounts to get it right for a somewhat long lasting affect. Of course just start out lightly and add more to the spot on the ground from there. Once it gets on the tire though it can be hard to put out. The pros on stuntlife.com know how to do it best.

yes a full body / bike flame would be awesome but has to be
highly supervised with crew and be very brief also. this coming
weekend i am doing a rear-tire fire burnout in front of business
which is much less dangerous. also as slydewayz said, in this
attempt the rear tire should have studs installed. my mechanic
has set 12 studs in my rear tires rubber for the event.
