Took the plastics off to look for any other damage. Only thing that needs to be fixed besides plastics are brake lever, the black metal cover on the engine, and a stud. I know how to fix it all except for the stud.

Here's a pic, this welded stud holds the fairings on, it got hit at an angle and bent, cracking some of the metal. Can I hammer it back straight?? Should I bring it somewhere to be repaired? Thanks for any input.

ouch.... thats actually the frame that cracked. I would bring it to a pro and have them remove/reshape/repair that damage.
Thats what I thought, I'll bring it to a shop for repair

I'm sure they'll fix me up for some dolla bills

Yeah, BUT if you can seculy mount you fairings and not have them flop around w/o that one bolt...You could at least ride for a while like that...
i second that motion, also if you are happy the crack is only superficial

also if the fairing isnt secured without that one bolt, gaffa tape might help hehe :thumbup
