Just watched the formula extreme race at Sears Point last night on Speed chanell. Seems all the other teams are throwing alot of flack at Graves for using the R7 frame and swingarm. Suzuki teams in general, and hell, they themselves are using 99 factory racing swingarms--so what's the difference? But if all goes well and Graves is allowed to continue using the R7 frame and swingarm, it looks like total domination so far. I think he had a 6 second lead on the last lap of the race, unbeleivable. These other teams need to realize that it is pretty much anything goes in formula extreme, and that Graves R7/R1 goes wicked fast with Damon Buckmaster on it: :thumbup

I totally agree, I dont see why yamaha opted to stay out of WSB and devote all of there resources on GP racing. I think the factories sell more bikes based on superbike wins than GP wins, which as sad as it is to say yamaha isnt doing so well in the GP races. I think yamaha would have dominated this year in WSB if they would have gottem more power and gave Haga enough $ .

Yamahas mistake?

I couldn't have said it better myself yohan!
Dropping Haga and quitting WSB was a big mistake i think, the R7 should definitely have been given more time. And with Haga already having shown he could win with it I am sure they could have won the WSB! I think they should also have hired another good rider, perhaps Gobert?

I think WSB is important for bikessales as well!

But I also love the introduction of 4-strokes in GP and who am I to blame Yamaha, really, for concentrating on getting their GP-machine competitive? But......:no

I think that the 750 class is in the very near future HISTORY and the manufacturers do not want to waste $$$ on developement for it. 600 and 1000 cc i-fours and v-twins/ v-fours are the future.
