Looking to purchase frame sliders for my new 04. Can anyone tell me which is better - the Graves sliders or Yamaha's? Want a slider that is definitely going to give me the best protection and appearance. Have only seen pics of both so would like input from those that actually have them. Thanks for the help!!

The Yamaha's are useless . They don't even protrude past the plastic . The dealer put them on before I picked the bike up but I quickly replaced them with THESEnyr1man said:
You will need a couple of spacers but I had them mounted in about 20 minutes and they look good . Plus they are 3 3/4" long so they stickout a bit past the clutch housing ...

I will take pics of mine tonight and post them up. Mine come with 3. The two that stick out of the faring and the right side that protect the clutch also.

Which are the one with a carbon fibre look and have bolts on the ends? And do they make em for the 04R1?
fram sliders
Well I guess I like deals, so since were talking about fram sliders, I put Yoshimura sliders on my bike and let me tell you they stick out really nice, I mean about 1.5 in past everything, damn I think I could put my feet up on them lol have to us washers though but they look nice,. edit, I did some reserch for you guys, the parts# are out check (1312-a100) or (a101)color difference. got to yosh web page, I have friends there that are making stuff for the R1 off my bike, so there are plenty of things coming out, top secret for now is a New "EMS3" the (CUBE). and stuff Im not going to talk about until allowed.
