i think all frame sliders that fit onto a 04 R1, don't need any plastic cutting, drilling since the engine mounting points which i am assuming all manufacturers will use, due to the fact that they are the most impact resistant points on the bike, are not blocked or restricted by any fairings. so there is no mod or cutting required. visit www.rg-racing.com for a better idea of how it will look. ;)

That is not correct. The IRP "race" sliders require mild cutting of the black plastic trim piece on the 04, as I have shown with pics in some of the threads on this subject. The IRP "street" sliders will use anodized offset brackets to clear all body work without the need to trim.

Vahakn, I really need to update that website one of these days. I have since removed that aftermarket suspension link, as it became apparent that it was introducing more problems, and not solving the ones I was attempting to resolve with the link. I replaced it with the Graves Suspension linkage, and that has worked much better.

oh i see. many thanks for that. besides the fact that it will over work the damper out of corners and might as well be responsible for many front end washouts entering corners, what ways has it effected ur own riding style. No need to mention that it is mainly desigend to be used and appreciated at a track.
