Is it normal for fuel to drain out of the feed port when you disconnect the line? Is there no gravity valve to keep fuel from coming out of the feed port when the bike is off? The tank is off the bike and when I went to reinstall it fuel is pouring out of the feed port with just gravity before I can even hook up the quick disconnect fuel line to it.

It's not normal, mine does it as well. I haven't been too bothered to look up why though I just put a clamp on the fuel line when I'm removing the tank.

I’m just wondering since the fuel keeps draining from the feed line, when it’s connected is it dumping raw fuel into the throttle bodies and down into the motor. Or is there something that restricts it?

I’m gunna pull the pump apart and see if it’s missing an o ring or seal of some sorts that keeps the fuel pump sealed to the unit so it only passes fuel when the pump is on.

Nah I've never had it leak fuel into the throttle bodies. The injectors should take care of that from happening.
