All honesty , tired of getting smoked on straights .Also realize that these liter bikes belong on the track-too dangerous when riding twisties on public roads-too many people get hurt -power is not the main concern -the light weight , along with short wheelbase ,and possible obstructions on public roads-straight ahead speed safer, if road is clear ,more stability on heavier bikes-that's why I am switching to a Hayabusa-More HP(which is the first thing I wanted after getting my R1 )more torque and greater comfort...and high speed stability...R1 :s are yesterdays news ....I don't care how hot they LOOK... Adios..........;) (Sorry if I was being Politically Incorrect by Posting this here)

Enjoy. Hope you dont get to board going in strait lines. Great bike if you are scared of curves.(not trying to be mean there) Just be carfull it is easy to get in a bad way when you are not giving the bike full attention.

uh....

yea ok, I meet guys like you all the time. There isnt a Busa I've met yet that can hang. SO it can get to 180 mph faster, but do YOU have the balls to go that fast??? Probably not. Enjoy living in your fantasy world...

"lets see, lets get a sherman tank, scale it down, and make it a motorcycle... as a matter of fact, we'll call it a hayabusa! Who cares if it handles, weights a ton, and looks like a freakin piece of crap, the public will buy it cause all they are concerned about is HORSEPOWER, and they'll belive anything they read...."

yeah,more stable...heavier...yeah.

but a heavier bike,when in trouble,takes more time/muscle to come around...uh-oh.

enjoy anyways.

you"ll come back to lighter bikes sooner than you think...you just psyched yourself in getting that ugly bulbuous thing they care to call a...bike.(sport-tourer at that!)

Need more horsepower??
Unless you live at Bonneville or your last name is Bostrom or Hayden the R1 has more than enough horse power for the street.
If I really thought I needed that much hp though I would rather invest in a turbo kit and a NOS system than a 'busa. To each his own though, if you were disappointed by the R1 don't expect more from that bubbled 'zuke.

Good luck loser ohhhh by the way anyone can go striaight...... I think this guy just bought a HAYBUSTUP and is trying to make himself feel better about his mistake
Ya...I would so agree with this one.
But if he can talk himself into it and feel better about it...then more power to him.

Just remember kids:
Drag racing sucks. There's not much skill to riding straight...oh, except when a car pulls out in front of you. :finger

whatever, i didn't buy mine to go straight or to get 'looks', i plan on taking it to the track where it belongs, if i lived in a place with plenty of wide open roads I would probably buy a 'busa or ZX12 though

Hey guys, below is a copy of Kenny's post from a couple of days ago. Sounds like Kenny needs to learn how to ride an R1 before he attempts dragging on a Busa. I found it interesting now that I see this one, even humorous! :lol
