I'm in the process of preparing a 2004 R1 for racing, this includes removing the charcoal canister and removing/disabling the air injection. The air injection must be disabled/removed to sample accurate air/fuel ratio, the cat has already been removed; however due to class restrictions I must retain the stock exhaust.

Any assistance would be welcomed (or pictures scanned from the service manual, mine hasn’t arrived)

Thanks!

Update:
The air injection and charcoal canister weighs 2.02lbs. I'll post pictures later this evening, the new canister is rectangular.

Thanks!

martinc:
Agreed, the majority of the code is finished; finding time is difficult with the pending race season (and my existing schedule).

Thanks!
