I've noticed a couple of bikes with "blue headlight masks"

What are they?

imho gay...but you can get them at stickercity.com or soemthing like that, not sure exactly the link though, run a search on google for headlight covers you should get them that way, its basically a tape that has all kinds of holes in it so it gives the illusion of a cover.

It's basically a decal, and you can get all kinds to fit most sport bikes.

if your not looking to change the color...3M clear bra...they have it you can apply it to your entire front end, and its seamless see through its awesome!!! never yellows either.

measure your headlight accordingly?

I got mine from www.scclearbra.com - they come pre-cut for your make/model of bike.

Couldn't remember exactly. Been almost 2 years since I've purchased it..

Smoke film

I'm very keen to put the smoke film on my 2006 Raven R1.
Does it effect the headlights, and "dampen" the lighting? Cage drivers are blind to bikes over here, so I need to ride with my lights on at all times!!!

in my opinion, yes it does dampen the lighting!

I had the blue cover on my 04 and turned the bike on with only one cover on.

Verdict: The cover made amost no noticable change in dimming but the blue caused the light to shine super white by gettin' rid of any yellow, which I got lots of compliments on.

Oh, and I will do it again on my '07.
