Hi guys,

Just need your wise opinions on Leather Jackets, am choosing between these 2, which would be a better buy?

So far, I have 2 jackets in mind, both of which I will be purchasing online

*Used* Dainese (Not sure which model or year, maybe an old model)
USD 180 (Private Seller)

*New* Alpinestars Spinner
USD 255 (excluding shipping from eBay)

take a look a the rev`it brand I have one and its great. If your interested let me know I find it fairly cheap . Go here http://www.revit.eu/ and look at the RS2 leather jacket, it has great padding and the leather is great quality. Very comparable to Dainese.

Go with the A*. Dianese makes a great product, but I'd be more trusting of a new jacket personally.

Definately go with the A* jacket... its a little more pricy but it is new...new means only you have worn it and you will break it in yadda yadda yadda.

me personally i would never get anything used...especially apparel

"Relaxed fit" hurt's like a marthafocker when you're sliding down the road doin 80 on your back.

Not blowin up your choices , but if you have a budget of 255.00 and you are'nt afraid of ebay there are a ton more choices that would be a little better.

i dont know.. i have a Relaxed fit one-o-one jacket.. and it protects WAYYY more then my speedstar 2pc suit

So have you slid it down the road yet? I had a slip n' fall wearing a size 46 and got cherry burns on the forearms because the sleeves were loose and allowed the jacket to abraid my skin. And the jacket I crashed in was a speedstar. I still have it and it simply lost a bit of color on the impact sites. Other than that it just has "crash character".
