My CCT is going bad and I'm getting ready to replace it. While I was setting the engine on TDC I forgot to keep the pins from the cover in the guides and my left guide moved up somehow and I have no clue how to move it back down to put in the pin. Please help

theres too much tension on the chain. zip tie the chain onto the sprockets so they stay and with a grease pen put marks onto the crank and the chain link that its on. once you pull the old tensioner out it will loosen and you can put the pin back in. throw your new tensioner in and make sure the bottom mark is on and pull the pin on the tensioner it will tighten and you can turn it and itll self adjust. if your doing a manual cct then follow the instructions be careful not to over tighten it
