As you can see this is my first time posting on the forum, and I can really use the help !! I have been searching for a good pair of frame sliders for my 04 R1. I have a pair of Graves, however I'm not really happy with them. (The right side slider turns freely while the left side is solid, yes they are properly torqued).

Then I found these and they look great, exactly what I was looking for. Apparently they are Yamaha "OEM"? They look like a machined billet aluminum bracket with the puck mounted to the bracket. Now, the only problem is that I can't find them ANYWHERE (yep, I have tried Google as well as the SEARCH button with no luck) Can anyone fill me in on where to get these?
Hope I attached the image right!! If not sorry.
Thanks,
J.:thumbup :dunno

I believe those are the euro spec... R1 sliders for the 04... The US spec'd Yamaha ones are close to what you have currently...

Thanks for the info guys, SpidermanSS I was afraid of that. Is there any way of importing them here to the states? If not, dagored8 will you PM me a contact # and any info so I can buy a set from shogun when they are finished with their R&D? Again thanks for all the help with a subject that seems to be beaten to death.

I think they r going to sell for around 40-50 bucks. here r the pics i promissed. you can get these through moto911.com or cyclemall.net. moto911 prices r 79.95 but i was told that is for the revolver shaped ones. if you like the bling bling those r pretty cool.

your right i should remove that. didnt mean it that way. some sliders just took the easy way and installed a spacer instead of getting proper measurements and machining a slider that is more durable. these ones look like they are apart of the bike attachment

When you say "weak" do you mean the metal part or the whole thing. Graves makes race sliders which is plastic all the way down. Maybe that would make a difference. The sliders you have on are mainly for street riding arn't they.
