Guys i just got some tapered head bearings...
Installing the top one will be without a problem..
NOW, the lower one.
Problem is the fit of the rubber seal. With the stock one, the lower inner race had enough space to sit the rubber seal (dust cover). Now the new bearing has the inner race inside of it, and dosnt have enough space coming out to have the lower rubber seal sitting.
Anyone who has done the job probably knows what im talking about.
Is it important to keep the rubber seal? can i shim the rubber seal so it fits and does not interfere with the movement of the bearing?
thanks for your time.
