Im trying to take the fuel pump out of the tank but there is a little prong getting caught that wont let it come out. How do I get it out?

Just throw a lit match in the tank and it will come right out.:lol

Use a thin screwdriver and prey it out. But be easy on the plastic thingy, it can snap if you bend it too much.

Urbamworm:
You first must unsecure the fuel level sender, it slides toward the top of the tank with a rather loud pop; once removed the pump assembly comes out quite easily.
