steve, do you mean the RF1000 or the x-11? The RF1000 doesn't come out. I have one of those.

The cheek pads should come out. Wash them in the washing machine with Woolite. As for the rest of the helmet, fill a 5 gal bucket with water and put woolite in it. Remove the visor. Literally dunk the helmet in it and start scrubbing away with your hands on the liner. You can't hurt anything by submerging it. Scrub it for about 5 minutes then take it out and rinse it with the hose really well. Then try to press some of the excess water out of the liner as best you can, then let it sit in front of a fan for a day.

Nice clean helmet. Oh, you might want to wash your ass, too. :lol
