since I am chopping off my rear signals how can I make my brake lights blink/signal ...

what parts do I need at my local auto shop???

do I make sense?

You need a trailer wireing box a Hoppy I think it is called. I bet martin has directions on his site somewhere.If not I have them at work

Go to the local auto parts store and get a trailer wiring harness converter. Not sure which one you need. Tell them you have to integrate the blinkers into the dual filament tail light bulbs and they should be able to help. Expect to pay $15-20 for the kit. You also need to replace your stock flasher relay with a Tridon EL-12. A hand-full of butt connectors and spade lugs would be nice too. There is a website with a diagram on how to wire it up, I'll look for it. It isn't complicated though. If you can rewire a F/A 18 it should be a cake walk.
