No. The throttle bodies need to be removed.

I kept messing with it and was able to remove the TPS without removing the entire throttle body assembly. :fact
Just thought I'd update this thread for anyone else with the same question...

I really don't have a question though I am interested in how the cleaning works out for you thus I have been keeping an eye on this thread. Thanks for the update and keep'em coming. Obviously, hope it works out well for you.
