I am thinking about getting a stiffer rear shock spring for my 07. Any one knows hoe to go about taking the shock apart, compress the spring etc..?

Any sound advice will be most welcomed.

I have no advice but when you get the stiffer spring could you let me know where you got it.

I will probably get the spring from Racetech. They do not have one for the 07 as of yet but they are looking into it. Since you are in the US you could just send them your shock and they will do it for you.

I will let you know when I hear from them regarding the 07 spring.

I am still waiting to hear from Racetech (they are out on vacation) but in the meanwhile I decided to go ahead and set my suspension sag. I did it and was bang on the recommended measures with the stock springs front and back!?

So I do not seem to need a stiffer spring despite my 104kg / 229lb!

Go figure. Maybe my European bike has stiffer springs?
