A very old and well used one that is.
This is a 1973 Yamaha RD350 two stroke.
I have been looking for one of these for a long time. The plan is to totally tear it down, massive engine work, update it with whatever I can get, and build it into a race replica.
She runs, and the sound is so freaking cool.
When I was about 15 my brothers friend let me ride his (I later owned it and then sold it back), it was the very first road bike I ever was on. At the time I was racing MX, and this was a very very fast bike back then. I took it out and nearly buried the speedo at 120mph. I was hooked after that.
Real bikes don't have camshafts!
