My left hand inner tube has the hard chrome coming off and since the bike shop wants $1000 for the part fitted,i decided to shop for a set of forks and luckily i came across these babies and trumped the other bidder with 15 seconds to go. Delivered for $275.

SSPilot, could you do me a favor and send me a pic of your R1 sitting streight up on the stand, direct side view? I want to see what your Akros look like (they look like they've been shortened or are a shorter version than the cans I have) and I'm really contemplating cutting mine to that length....just wanted to see exactly what it looks like from a side view.
