I normally change the oil with the bike on the stands...
I let it sit there till there is no more oil then put the oil plug back in and add oil. Today, for the hell of it, I took the bike off the stands and put it on the kickstand. To my surprise about another good 1/4 quart of oil came out

Anyhow... thats all. I thought that I would share :p

Iv'e done my oil the same way Shadow, looks like I'm going to give the regular method a try, you try just puttin her up on the rear stand? I havent tried that yet but maybe it will help to drain even more old oil out of the pan?

No shit? You would think that by tilting the bike you would get more oil to run out (sounded good in my head at oil change time) now I know how I'm going to do this years first oil change!! Good looking out Shadow!!
