First beause I had to spend all that damned time at the dealer yesterday only to end up riding my brand spankin new R1 home in the rain. Then when I was signing all those damn papers there was one in particular that really tweaked me. "Helmet usage". I had to sign a waiver that I was told by the dealer that when riding a motorcycle wearing a helmet is the safe thing to do. I was like:confused: . So I ask the guy " do you people think I'm some kinda weetod." Normally , being a professional prick , I would have gotten up and left at this point . But they had my keys to my old bike and my new one. I just wanted my bike and my keys so I could leave, so I signed it while looking over my shoulder for a short bus with tinted windows. (you know the one.) Anyhoo, they gave me the damn keys and at that moment it started raining cats and dogs. ( which was good because I almost gave them my rainsuit in my old bikes *trunk*) . Well the ride home sucked. New bike, New tires, Rain and Rush hour traffic. So then I figure today I'll scuff it up some. Wrongo bongo!!!!!! More rain, it stopped just before rush hour. ( nope , not suicidal.) So hopefully tommorow, .........I RIDE. thanks for listening

Congrats Solidus!! When I picked my '02 those bastards drove it through the mud to bring it out front. The whole underside of the bike was all frickin' muddy. :no I was pissed. Granted, it cleaned up fine, but you would have thought they would at least have hosed it down, made it look good before I got there. But... I have the bike and that is all i care about. See, if you would have had some sandpaper, you could have broken in those tires before you went out in the rain, :thumbup. :lol
