So, I just installed a fender eliminator (Yoshimura) which includes a plate light/LED.
I've connected the cables to the original one, turned the ignition on and the 'Engine Trouble Warning Light' is on, with a code 69 displayed...

The light on the fender is on, all the light on the bike function properly and the bike turns on without issue.

Does anyone have any clue on what I can have done wrong connecting the cabling?

69 is a problem with the front speed sensor or the sensor wiring.
Check you haven't disturbed a connector.

When the bike is started on a rear stand, and the rear wheel spins and the front doesn't , code 69 is set. It will go off once the bike is ridden 15 ft. or so, its not problem. Doing a burnout will do the same.
