The battery is dead and you keep it like that for a few weeks? I dont think it is a problem but wanted to make sure.

Thanks

Nope its not bad for the bike, but if you don't charge the battery excpect it to probaly be toast and you'll have to buy a new one. But as far as hurting your bike it will not do

I'd get it out of the bike just in case it starts to leak acid. Trash
it and get a new one.

I don't understand the reasoning for keeping the dead battery still hooked up when it's dead. Really, is there a choice to be made here? Remove it and get another one bro.

The battery can also freeze if it is cold enough, and you will shorten its life by leaving it dead for long periods of time. I would put a trickle charger on it.

The only problem will be that the battery will keep building up sulfates on its plates and eventually the plates will end up shirting themselves out. The bike will be fine but you are going to have to get a new battery...
