First, I would like to thank all of you guys for the mechanical help that you gave me. I was in my local motorcycle parts shop (Cycle Parts Discounters) in the Baltimore area. One of the owners was tellig me that the Ivan's Jet Kit is the same thing as the Dynojet Jet Kit. He said that Ivan is fooling everybody by putting his name on the Dynojet's product, then he went on to say that he is going to make his own jet kit and call it Billy Bob Jet Kit and make a million bucks. I told him that before he could make a jet kit, he would have to get a good reputation. He said that Ivan does not have any good reputation, its just that there is a buzz on the internet that his kits are the best , but really they are not the best, they are just the plain ole Dynojet Kit. He is also is telling people not to buy his kits. But I have been on this forum for about 3weeks now and I read everyone's motorcycle bios and a lot seem to have Ivan's jet Kit and not only in the states(worldwide). Please tell me that this jerk is wrong. The address to his store is 213 Gwynn Oak Avenue Woodlawn Maryland. This guy is a person that thinks he Knows everthing about everything . He even told me that speedbleeders are anly for track use!!But the Ivan thing really tick me off.He does not send his kids to school he home schools them(he's got about 3 or 4 rug rats running around the store and all of then have dirt on there faces and he got two dogs running around the store. One more thing, the last time I went into the store, there was this Black guy sitting in his car waiting to get a tire change and 95 degree weather. I asked the guy why was he sitting in his car sweating bullets, the guy told me that the owners would not let him stay in the store while they put a new tire on his rim because they got robbed two days ago and did not feel comfortable with people sitting around the store. the guy was about 60 to 70 years old and would do as much damage as a honda. this guy is a butt:butt . tell me he is wrong!!! Plus i am going to call ivan on tuesday to tell him what this guy is saying about his stuff

Anyone that sounds like that I would stay away from. They are bad people. I would like to see the Ivan kit he owns. He must have one or how could he come to the conclusion that Ivan's and Dynojet are the same? I think the guy is a crock of shit and just wants you to buy parts from him and not someone else. I would bid the guy good day and move on to someone else. Nough said!!!

I would do my researc before making any decisions. I have not heard of anyone complaining about Ivans kits, nor dynojet if jetted correctly. When you get a chance send me an email, I will be moving to gwynn oak in about a month. I currently work in Towson.

I have ridden an R1 with a full system and a dynojet kit that would not carburet properly anywhere in the rev range.

I live in Columbia, ride my bike with Ivan's needles and see what you are missing.

Dyno tuning with lamba sensor scheduled for May 11th.

popping on Decell

Check to make sure you have no air leaks. Make sure the carbs are seated correctly. Make sure the exaust is not leaking. If you have no air leaks then try turning your idle mixture screws out a bit. They should be 3 to 3 1/2. If you bike idles well at all then I really doubt a carb sync will help the popping. It is possible, but not common.

You can always get rid of the air induction on your bike too. It helps to reduce the popping on deceleration.
