Well, i just finished painting and lettering my first fully prepped race bike. Im getting ready for local club racing starting in march. It sure is cool to see both my R1 and a race bike in the garage. Since I have no money now, I just sit in the garage with the bikes. :beer

So what do you guys think of colors I used??

nice bike, I would upgrade your sliiders though.
I thought about that. I nought those the day i got bike, and before Iplanned on racing it. Hopefully I dont have to test them, but they actually seem to stick out farther then my friends Sato's on same bike. I guess though its worth another $60 to save alot of fairing damage.

Those will do you no good at the track
:bs have you rode the track before?
long sliders are great for the street, but for the track they are horrible. chances are when you wreck at the track your bike will go in the grass. a long slider in the grass will grab and flip your bike several times. when it does that you can pretty much kiss any fairing/fairingstay/subframe goodbye. low-sliders are the choice when racing.

Looks good...how much did the paint job cost you? Hopefully you won't have to....redo it shortly...though in racing I feel it's inevitable. I wish you well...but you might want to pick up a can of spray paint in red and silver....and some bondo.
