Just got my flushmounts (new closeup pics)

Hey guys just got my flushmounts from www.carbonsport.com . these look awesome But i find that they dont seem bright enough(maybe im just saftey concious, Or the g/f :boobies thinks they are to dull LOL). The have a 12v/5w globe in them now and was wondering if i put an 8w or a 10w in it. Would it get to hot and melt the lenze. Seeing as they are not used as a running light, I would think that there wouldnt be to much of a problem?? Anyone out there done the same???

you sure you have the wiring right?

I just put some cat eyes flush mounts
on mine and had to play with the wiring
to get them right..


I kept the 3 wire setup

it's better to be safe then sorry...

Yeah the wiring is all right. It is an Australian model and we dont use the running lights here. I guess its just a bit of a shock going from a 21w origonal globe down to the 5w. it isnt much of a problem of a night its just in the daytime that i think they are a bit dull..
