Congratulations, man!

Why did you have to go to PA for a standard R1? Rosenau has them in stock and has since last week. I was there looking for an R1M today and found out they have one coming in the next week so I put my deposit on it. I was minutes away from ordering one from Washington state....

I live in Wolverine Lake, we'll have to go riding some time.

Rosenau quoted me some ungodly number up in the $18000 range.

I paid $15238.60 and that's including my MI 6% sales tax, title and tag.

Yes it is, I don't know the difference though. I called and talked to George as I asked the same question.

I will be able to compare the 09-14 pins and the 15 pins tomorrow.

15 left side pin is shorter. Right side pin looks identical to me.

You definitely found a better deal, but I wouldn't say 18k is too terrible for a dealer that knows he'll sell every unit he can get. Tax on the bike is $990 for a $16500 retail, that leaves $500 for him to get it plated and out of the crate.

Interestingly, the best selling bike they have right now is the '14 R1 @ $9999....
