Just wondering if you had a choice which new liter bike would you buy?
My friend is looking for a new bike which of teh new liter bikes would you buy?

All of the new liter bikes are solid bikes. They each are drastically improved over what was available just a few years ago. What can he get the best deal on? What feels most comfortable to him? What bike does he have best realtionship with the associated dealer? Which does he likes the looks of? Either way he can't go wrong. As for opinions, we're on the R1 forum, so you know what my answer is.
When I saw 04 R1 it didn't really do anything to me...to be honest. I don't know, maybe because I saw so many pictures on the internet. But then, I saw 1000RR... and it just sucked me in. I like the front, I am curious about that damper... the whole thing just looked good.Darkangel said::2bitchsla

To me, hp doesn't matter anymore. Most of us here never use the full potentials of the liter bike (not to insult anyone) but its true. If you are into roll ons on the freeway with your buddy on 03 gixxer to see if you can beat him, then yeah, R1 would be a good choice, but for someone like me, who plans on doing track days and not too much this straight line "my dad can beat up your dad" thing I would preffer 600RR or R6.
Each to its own. There are people on the tracks that ride 250cc bikes and they will pass big all mightly liter bikes like they are standing still....
Hell, I even changed my mind, I would take 600RR but since the thread is about liter bikes, then 1000RR
The 04' R1 and 04' ZX10R, although I may be slightly biased. 
Man so many riders on the R1_FORUM sweatin the ZX-10,FU*K the ZX, 04 R1 all the WAY!!!!!!!!:rock

Finally saw a Blue ZX 10 a few hours ago at the bike shop.
I have to eat crow here and say, I liked the appearance of the zx 10 better in PHOTOS than the R1....
And was on the ZX 10 bandwagon purely for its LOOKS based on the photos.
Well, not bad but it did not blow me away.....
Still have yet to see the R1 in person, but I am beginning to see the light.
A big key here is that the underseat exhaust has really started to grow on me......
Hope to see the 1 soon, but just to admire from afar........

R1 hands down. The CBR looks like crap. The front looks like crap, the rear looks like crap, need I go on? R1 :thumbup
CBR1000RR-ZX10r-R1-GXSR1000 in that order but come on, I would take any of them but my deposit is on the honda.
