hey guys and gals. i just did my oil change and used the oem filter but was wondering if anyone here has tried the k&n oil filters. good, bad??? i havent seen any reviews either.

also, on the subject of maintenance, how do you people lubricate the clutch and throttle cable and how often. do you basically put a few drops at the top of the cable and let it trickle down or is there a special tool.

I used the new k+n filter only cause it has a nut welded onto the end of the filter for easy access. I have had no issues with this. I guess the only immediate issues that would have been noticed would be if the thing leaked. But that has never happened to me.
