Is all R1's that come form europe in kilo or miles? Mainly concerning Greece? Thanks!

About the question... you can switch them between km and miles.

I now what ya mean. See I posted on cycletraders search engine that I was lookin for a 1999 to 2001 for under $4,000, and he said he saw that I had looked at his bike. Well to make a long story short he wants to sell it to me from Greece for 3,000 and I was like (Sure), so I asked for his vin#'s and will see when he replys. To make things better I said I would only work through Escrow. Will know if it was a scam if he dosen't reply.

I think it's only on non-US spec bikes that have that option

my friend had a 2000 R1 and whenevere he wasnt around, we would change it to kilometers on it.. i think you can do it by holding the buttons down or something.. i think all models can do it..

Hold down the reset and select buttons at the same time for a few seconds. This will switch from km's to miles.

Canadian models are in km/h only.

I never got around in checking othe ryears,i"d require both models (switchable and non-switcheable) to do it.

No worky on cdn 04's. If you press the 2 buttons with the key on, it changes the clock, if you press it and turn the key, it brings you to the DIAG mode.

I accidently change mine every now and then. It requires holding some buttons down, just don't know which ones.
