Hello,

I live in midtown, and I'm always looking for ridering buddies within the area. I normally ride the Dragons' Tail in the Dahlonega/Suches area with a group called the Floribama riders.

They are a real nice group. Some members are superbike instructors.

I am a relatively sane R1 rider. In other words, I try to only participate in activities that WILL NOT send me directly to jail if I get caught or kill me instantly if I misjudge something!

At the end of the day, I want to go home, under my own power.

Hey man I ride through suches and what not basically every weekend. I moved to ATL about two years ago and brought my 900RR. Then I realized how crazy people were here and sold it. Now I'm comfortable with the crazies and decided to get a R1. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Anyways I'm riding all alone basically every weekend and would not mind having some fellow R1 owners that I can ride with. Anyways last time I was up past Suches I was singled out and ticketed for 77 in a 55 and really feel like I need to ride with a group in order to keep my license.

400 (N), to hwy 60 t/l, follow 60 to suches through dahlonega there is a place called two wheels only this is one of the most amazing places man there are bikes everywhere. Suches is a small town BTW.

I've been really busy lately, and besides that, some fools recently tried to steal my R1 and wound up practically destroying it instead :cryin

It's a long story that I'll post later on its own thread.

It's in the shop now, getting an estimate. As soon as I get it back, I'll be riding the wheels off of it once again.

I'll give all interested parties my contact info. Definately looking forward to riding with you guys some time in the near future.

Sundays at Toosies

Hey - I live in Decatur. I ride with a group of up to 20 guys on Sundays. We meet at Toosies (top of 400 near Dahlonega) on Sunday mornings. Our route takes us up 19/60-129-180 (Helen sometimes, Morganton sometimes). If you want to join us, look for the Silver R1 in the Toosies parking lot on Sunday AM near 10am.

When I had a bike, I usually rode in that area on Sunday. As soon as my silver R1 gets outta the shop, I'll look for ya there.

Count me in I will be up there at 10am just need you to tell me where exactly toosies is i'm not farmiliar with names up there. Is it the shop at the end of 400 just before hwy 60 on the right?

At the end of 400 before it becomes a two lane road is a place on the right-hand side called Toosies. It's a Motorcycle lodge. They have a large parking lot out front for you to park your truck if you pull your R1 (like me).

Hey, Me and couple of buddies of mine normally ride together, one has a R1(blue 2000) the other rides a 929 (he just stepped up to from a 'Smokin' Joe 600) what a sweet ass bike that was. Anyway we don't normally ride in a large group so this sounds pretty good. We could hook up soon and get a little riding in, we live in South Atlanta. I'll run it by my crew to see when we can all get together for a ride....
