im thinking about buying another 03 r1 limited edition and while i was looking at one today i noticed that there was a different looking apparatus on the rear suspension...there was a linkage connecting the rear suspension to the frame which was threaded and had 2 nuts...i am guessing that the one nut was for making adjustments and the other was just a lock nut...but an adjustment for what?? the height of the bike?
lowered suspension??

ok, i thought thats what it was but i wanted to make sure cuz i never saw that setup before. i'll probably just crank it out to what the original ride height is supposed to be when it came from the factory. i think that i should check the suspension settings too because they previous owner probably tweeked them a little due to the lowered ride height
