Anyone heard anything about these tyres or used them? I would be most interested in their dry performance but also how well they hold up in the wet.

I've only found one person who has 'em but he says they're very very good in both wet and dry conditions.

I've put 1000 miles on my set of Sportec's, and I like them better than the OEM D208s. I try to stay away from wet roads, so I can't help you there. After hearing so much about the Pilot Sports, I'm tempted to give those a try next. Overall, very pleased with the M1's. Hope this helps.

It seems like everyone in the crew I ride with is switching over to the M1's, and they ALL love 'em. We're talking about every kind of bike too: R1's, Gixxers, Daytona's, Ninjas, F4's... you name it, these things seem to be magic.

Can't say much about wet performance, but a couple of them have ridden them though puddles and had good things to say about traction.

Yeah the Yams are a popular bike at the moment... still loads more Hondas and icky cruisers though. There's still only about thirty or fourty '02 R1s in the whole country.... not sure whether it's a good thing or a bad thing.

If I recall correctly the M1 is the latest version of the Rennsport Street... not too sure on that point however. And it's a newish tyre too I haven't seen much on it anywhere.
