Quick question. My rear tire is almost done, I'm taking my bike in for the 4,000 mile service. I want to put Pilot sports on, except my front tire is still good. Is it going to be a problem with a front Dunlop and a rear Michelin??

As I am sure you know, it is not recommended that you mix tyres.

generally, you get 2 rears to 1 front so why not buy 2+1 next time, this save the problem when the back runs low and maybe you will get a better deal from the dealers.

I ALWAYS use Dunlop 207/8 GPs for out and out, ulitmate grip...

Anubis, I try to have matching tires. I haven't had any problems the times I did mix them. Check your front Dunlop for wear. They don't show their wear like other tires. They tend to "cup". The Pilot's a good tire.:thumbup
