Lets start a roll call of Michigan Riders!

Maybe get some groups together when the snow is gone.

I'm in Grand Rapids!

I'm not currently in Michigan, and it will be a couple years before I make it back, but I'll be moving to Lansing area around my DOS Nov 30 2006. Currently in Utah, Clearfield area. Just north of SLC. USAF!

Are there any good roads for riding in MI? Never had a streetbike while I lived there, south of Kalamazoo.

There's a couple twisty ones out by Metropolitan Beach (16 Mile Road), North River Road & South River Road have a couple nice sweepers and some tighter 2nd. gear corners, and Jefferson out by the beach has a few nice curves :thumbup

I usually try to hit them early in the morning before the old geezers hit the roads, then you can make a fairly consistant high speed run's thru them without having to follow cars (or pass in no passing zones) :lol

Keep your eyes peeled for PoPo's, I have been seeing more of them out there this spring, pulling over bikers (Harleys & Sportbikes) :yesnod

There isn't a single road that is straight around me with all the lakes. The farther you get from the city(northwest) the better the roads. Pinckney has some decent roads that are less travelled by cages.

I lived in Wixom for about 6yrs., and my parents had a cottage on Highland Lake near Pinckney, actually it was in Hell (MI) :lol

There are some nice roads (twisties) out there, and not alot of traffic :yesnod

I'm up for a ride as well :yesnod

the roads up past me are awesome. M-22 in leelanau county(My Track) is a good road but becoming congested, and up by petosky the roads are sweet.
