When I was riding home today from work, a buddy of mine was riding behind me and it was starting to get dark and he pulled up beside me and said that I was blowing flames (about a foot) out of the Micron. Ever since I put it on I noticed a little popping but, I never payed any mind to it, it wasn't loud or anything. But wwe went from a light and got on it a bit and when it came for his exit he pulled up again and stretched out his hands to show me how long the flame was and he called me tonight to say that every time I was popping that I was blowing flame out.

Is this bad? DO I need to do something about it or is it normal with a Micron? I don't want to FvCK something up! Should I put the stock pipe back on or am I just paranoid? Do I need to run a PCIII on it. I haven't done anything internally at all, stock filter and all.

HELP:dunno :dunno :dunno

Sounds to me like the tire pressure is to low, when was the last time you gave your bike a good coat of wax? Might wanna check your brake fluid.
There is always one...LOL that's what makes this place so fun:jump

It don't bother like I said but, this guy made it seem like my rings or valves might burn out and suggested a Power Commander. I always heard that if you didn't change anything internally then you didn't need one and frankly I don't want to put the cash out for one right now anyway!

But the majority has said that this is normal so I will take that as that I was being paranoid and everything is ok. So I will run out and kiss my baby and put her new Spools on and get it ready for her new stands that hopefully will be here tomorrow.

nos, should I check the blinker fluid when the lights are on or off:crash ??? J/k

Thanks for the help guys!

It happens when you get on the throttle hard and let off.
