Hello I'm new to R1 ownership and have just gotten a neglected 98 model here in the uk. I'm rebuilding the carbs and have had to mill out a seized air/fuel mixture screw BUT the final step in tapping out the screw insert is on hold as I can't determine the correct thread size for mixture screw. It looks like about a quarter inch outside diameter?... And with somewhere between 40-48 tip (thread per inch)? Does any body know the correct sizes here?

Any advice greatly received.

Can you remove a screw from another carb and check it? Take it with you to a shop and compare?
