Any of you ever take the MSF Experienced Rider Course?

I have about 6k miles on my little monster, and I've been thinking about upgrading to an R6 and taking the MSF experienced rider course this summer.

Is the course any good?

I might do it to but you have to use your own bike!!! When I took the basic course he said that if you didn't feel comfortable with a obstical you didn't have to do it. Just as long as you do most of them you will get whatever they give you for it. Cookie? It should be interesting though
I just figured it would be good to brush up on some stuff, make sure I haven't developed some bad habits. that kind of thing. It's only a couple hundred bucks, so I was thinking I would do it.
Wow its free here in PA!! They always busted my balls because I never used all my fingers when I braked. It makes sence but its hard to change.
There are a couple of guys on the forum that are MSF instructors, I am sure they can give you some good advice.

I have only taken the beginner course though.

really? i find myself using my first 2 fingers covering the brake at all times and while braking/blipping/downshifting. that's a bad thing?...
Yeah, they didn't press the issue to much but it sure does work. Here's the deal, if you only use a few fingers or one to brake, than most of your grip is still on the throttle causing you to sometimes brake and accelerate at the same time (I'm sure everyone has done that before). If you use all four fingers to brake than the only finger on the throttle is your thumb. You definitely can tell the differnce.
I've had one or two fingers resting on my front brake lever over all my riding life on the street. I am so used to throttling with my outer fingers, I don't even realise I'm doing it at times. This is out of shear habit and your main braking power is instantly available for that idiot who doesn't see you and decides they want to be on the same piece of road, in the same place, at the same time as you.. It's saved my bacon a few times, but each to his own.....

Ride how you feel comfortable with.
It doesn't really matter if you leave your fingers there when not braking, they just wanted us to brake with all four. When we first started they made us leave them there the hole time. After a few days they said you may ride however it is comfortable to you.
