So I waited and waited and waited; until today. Sun is shinning. It's 41 degrees outside. This is the day I know my 04' R1 will show up. After all, my dealer said it would. I put a deposit down on it in October.

I called the dealer and an 04' R1 did in fact show up. Only one and it's ****ing BLUE!! I ordered a Cerulean Silver motorcycle, the wharehouse inventory showed Cerulean Silver. So I was offered to buy the blue one, and I declined the offer.

I thought perhaps the 04' R1 that was there was instead Cerulean Silver (like eyepsy's). But no such luck.

My Cerulean Silver R1 went to Chapparral in Cali....:cryin :cryin

Now I have to wait another two weeks or whenever it gets here. I'm really upset and sad as I was looking forward to this day for a REALLY long time...

So to whomever buys my Cerulean Silver R1 in Cali...ENJOY!:finger

At least it didn't fall off the boat into the ocean on the way over like a bunch of suzukis did last year! THere were a bunch of guys on a board that were waiting for their bikes and didnt get them because of rough seas combined with cargo out in the open!! LOL

Thanks for the sympathy folks.

I did call another dealer today and they got one blue and on silver in. They won't let it go for less than MSRP. And I even have an aquaintance that is a sale rep there.:crash

I guess I'll just have to wait until she arrives. I know that the best things in life come to those who wait. But I have been waiting for SEVEN MONTHS!!

LOL. yes, the pics you posted earlier were one of the reasons I decided to change my order from the red to silver. Pics do not do it justice, and outside in the sunlight, the silver is astonsishing. Even in person, indoors at the bike show, the silver looked "flat" and did not impress me.
