Have it on my 00. But when you say it works great, in what way?

Just that its a well made piece of equipment and that I know its functioning correctly. As far as HP gains or anything else related to performnace, my guess is as good as yours. It's hard to notice a small change in performance on a machine thats already this powerful. But it certainly makes sense in theory anyway.

How so? I can see that it wouldn't necessarily be any better than the stock setup, but I don't see how it can be worse....

Your setup will work better than stock, but you might want use some hose and move the filter out more so that when some oil comes out of it, it doesnt go all over your engine block. :riding

Still better than dumping all that hot crankcase air back into your air box.
