got my vcr all set to tape the first races of the season, i wait all damn day to get in from riding so i can watch it, get home to see the f8cking timer light flashing, meaning somethings wrong. the f8cking tape jammed at the start so i didn't get one lap on tape!!! from what i hear they were two exciting races too i started to set my other vcr as a back up but noooooooooo, i checked and double checked to make sure i had the timer set right, and even popped in a new tape. damnit, i am so fumed right now!!!! :boom

wtf happened to speed? didn't they used to show repeats of wsk on 2wheel tues?? i only got the 2nd race on tape, but it's the "good" race!

they used to show re-runs of both races during the overnight hours, but you don't get that anymore. if you for some reason miss the first airing, your shit out of luck when it comes to bike racing. this channel sucks ass but it is the only place in the states to see any racing. they claim no body was watching bike racing but you tell me, more people are watching speed racer?? bullshit!!!

Ah yes, VCRs.... I dont think I even own a "tape" anymore

I have the recordable receiver that came with DISH network. over 100 hours of recording time. I guess its something like a TVO... You should check into it.

yaeh, i've been thinking about tvo and similar stuff. can you still tape off of that type of system, cause i like to take my tapes to work so i can watch them there too.

yea, I checked out the manual and there are the typical hook ups on the back of the PVR. So I'm thinking you could replay what you recorded, while having a VCR hooked up to it as well recording at the same time.
