My right fender on my 05 R1 got ripped off from a little miscalculato in pilotry.....

anyway, when making the necessary repairs/replacement, specifically with the electrical connections, I found a connector (see image) that had no Miss'us to plug into.....?

I know the right marker light, and the headlight/guage unit, but as you can very well see, I got one left over......

anybody knows what this bad boy hooks up to?

(as with the fender getting ripped off, so was the right marker light, but I had thought I salvaged that piece, and only one connector came with it...)

Following the wire diagrams it comes out to be an "options" connector... I have asked about this before but no one on here was able to answer what it does.

its for a radar detector, or heated grips

glad to know it isnt anything thatll inhibit the ride.

I think the options were the remote buttons for the lap timer.
