Hey guys.. I have a question which I need an answer pretty quick..

will Ohlins damper from 01 R1 fit 99 model?

I am little confused because on ohlins website they don't say anything about the model's year but then on
http://www.hardracing.com/Shocks & Steering Damp/Ohlins.htm they tell you years 98-2001

Would it fit????

I think it'll fit. I've been shopping for a damper all over the net and they all have the same model for the R1 until 2002.

I've been planning on getting an Ohlins as well. I think Loki900 is correct.

Check this link out and it says 98-01 as well. You have to scroll down a bit.

Blue Streak, there is a guy on www.sportbikes.net that has 2 Ohlins for 300 bucks each. I just talked to him and he is sending me one, he has another one for sale.. check it out...

Look under Parts for sale and its on the topic "R1 goodies"

He also has high mount leo vince carbon slip on for 300 bucks...
